The public information pages under shyapps.com are static HTML. They load no advertising trackers and set no marketing cookies.

The app (/welcome and signed-in surfaces)

The authenticated SHY app can store data in your browser’s local storage. Here is everything the app stores in your browser:

  App preferencesRemembers settings, theme, and onboarding state on this device until you clear them or delete your account.

  Service worker cacheFaster loading and offline resilience. Replaced on each release.

  Push registrationDelivers the notifications you asked for, only if you enable them. Lasts until you disable notifications.

You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings (usually under Privacy — Clear browsing data); clearing it signs you out and resets on-device preferences, and deleting your SHY account removes the account data it referenced. SHY will update this policy before introducing optional marketing-site analytics or advertising technology.
